Appeal following burglary in Stevenage |
||
|
Detectives in Stevenage are appealing for witnesses and information after a home was broken into in Arnold Close and around £16,000 of goods stolen. On Wednesday 26 November, at around 7pm, offenders forced a rear door at the property and took a number of items from the address including designer bags, sunglasses, jewellery, cash and Christmas presents. Investigating officer DC Kate Rickard said: “We have conducted numerous inquiries so far and believe there were two males who entered the house. It is possible they were in the area for a while before entering the house. “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity and who has not already spoken to us, to get in touch. “We are also releasing a number of photos of some of the items in the hope that if they are offered for sale locally they will be recognised.” You can report information direct to DC Kate Rickard via email at Kate.Rickard@herts.police.uk. You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/112532/25. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org. | ||
